Rasmus Andersen,

Rasmus is a co-Founder of Runestone Capital and Portfolio Manager of the Runestone Capital Fund, which implements proprietary quantitative driven strategies trading derivatives with focus on volatility. The fund launched in 2015 and has since won numerous awards including best Emerging Macro, CTA & Volatility Fund by EuroHedge.
Prior to launching Runestone, Rasmus spent 9 years at Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse working in M&A, Equity Capital Markets and Wealth Management. He holds a MPhil in Economics from Queens’ College, University of Cambridge, a BSc in Economics and Business Management from University of Aarhus in Denmark and is a CFA charterholder.
Matthew Jones

Matthew’s qualifications include a BSc in Quantity Surveying at Westminster University and higher-level education qualifications in Business and Finance. Matthew’s knowledge and experience in the global construction and finance industries have provided him with a platform and capability to approach a variety of international projects in a strategic and pragmatic manner.
Nuno Barroso
Managing Director
Formerly a Chemical Engineer graduating from the University of NSW in Australia, and after working for Rio Tinto in the mining industry, Nuno moved to finance and financial planning, where he gained several years’ experience in the finance and property market. He then co-founded Platinum Group of Companies in Australia and Malaysia, where he worked for over 10 years in international project development. Over the past 15 years he has travelled the globe extensively working with family offices and large international firms, to develop the GCC Global Investment Platform (www.gccglobalplatform.com). Nuno is also co-founder of Rockstar Hubs International (www.rockstarhubs.international) and HA Law (www.ha-law.co.uk).

A qualified Chartered Accountant and formerly a senior partner in KPMG’s London business for 23 years, he was the first specialised Transaction Services partner in the UK practice and built the Transaction Services offering from a standing start, which is now a global business. He established and ran KPMG’s K-Ventures business and the Business Incubator business in the Dot com boom period. He has long standing relationships with his former clients: inter alia – KKR, BC Partners, CVC and other private equity and corporates and several family offices.
He founded Hyman Capital in 2005 and has been independent since then utilising his global network. He is now creating HC Partners, a co-investment vehicle to run alongside his service business. He founded Bedford Row, a loan note issuance business. He has sat on several boards in the private and listed world in the UK and overseas territories including China, Australia and Turkey as well as acting as Trustee of Young Enterprise East of England for many years.
Alexandre Retamal

Alexandre Retamal has a degree in journalism and a master’s degree in public administration. Over the course of 18 years, he held various managerial and advisory positions within the Federal Government of Brazil, including acting as Special Advisor to ministers. All this experience also provided a wide and consistent range of expertise and network of contacts in Brazil and abroad, both in the public and private sectors, used in his consulting company, RETMO Trading and Consulting, founded in 2019, to intermediate business and financial operations in the areas: legal (precatories, credit rights, mergers and acquisitions); commodities (agricultural and mineral); and environmental (carbon credits, sale and acquisition of areas).
